LIVE AUTHENTICALLY

Northumbrian Collective was created by four friends, Roy Searle, Kate Pozzo, Craig Millward and Simon Hall. As friends from different backgrounds and experiences of life, with different gifts and ministries, we enjoy one another’s company and appreciate the gift of friendship, honest conversations, good food and wine, and laughter. We believe it’s possible to build bridges of understanding, uncover ancient wisdom for modern times and grow resilient communities of hope. As well as sharing Christian faith, we also share a common commitment to the values of the collective: Listening Well, Thinking Deeply and Living Authentically.

In an age of social media-fuelled polarisation and tribalism, we seek to model good conversation. That doesn’t mean we feel we have to agree on everything, yet we are committed to respecting and honouring each other.

Whilst we are all captivated by the person of Jesus and believe that his life and teaching are as relevant as ever, everything beyond that is open for debate. When any of us expresses a view, this may not even be our settled or final opinion, since in our conversations we are trying to explore and discover new ways of thinking and living.

We hope that as you read out blog posts and listen to the podcast you will discover six people who are working hard together to discover how to Listen, Think and Live.
