Kate is an Integrative Counsellor and trained in Pastoral Supervision and Spiritual Direction. She enjoys working with people from a variety of backgrounds and settings.

In Pastoral Supervision and Spiritual Direction, she provides confidential space to explore the challenges and celebrations in ministry practice, to support growth and explore the spiritual and emotional interface, noticing God in everyday life. She enjoys working through conversation, metaphor, imagery, and creative media, and different ways of listening and prayer. She has recently started accompanying people on retreats and facilitating retreat days. Kate is interested in new monasticism, especially the Northumbria Community Daily Office, which is a sustaining guide in her spiritual journey.

She is involved in pastoral ministry with her husband, who is an ordained Baptist Minister and has been pastoring in Surrey & London for 24 years. Kate’s prior professional background is 20+ years as a Graphic Designer working in the Public & Third Sector with charities and local churches. She continues to work freelance on design projects.

Kate is be based in Northumberland and regularly visiting Surrey and London. She enjoys travel, exploring coastal landscapes, walking, creative art, and spending time with family & friends.

* Kate is a qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and works according to the BACP Ethical Framework. She has regular supervision and professional liability insurance and complies with GDPR. She trained in Pastoral Supervision at Spurgeon’s College and Spiritual Direction at the London Centre for Spiritual Direction (lcsd.org).
